1. Argan oil
Extracted from the kernels of the argan tree fruit, which grows almost exclusively in southern Morocco, argan oil is a “dry” oil rich in omega-6 and vitamin E. It nourishes without greasiness, repairs and softens.
- Face: two drops in the evening on damp skin, as the last step.
- Hair: as a pre-shampoo treatment, or a few drops on dry ends.
- Body: after the shower on warm skin, for long-lasting hydration.
2. Rose water
Obtained by distilling rose petals from Kelaat M’Gouna, rose water is a gentle, soothing and slightly astringent toner. Keep it cool.
- As a refreshing mist, at any time of day.
- As a toning lotion morning and evening, after cleansing.
- As a “first step” to prepare the skin for a serum.
3. Ghassoul (rhassoul)
A rare clay extracted from the Moulouya region, ghassoul absorbs excess sebum without stripping. It is ideal for combination skin, tired scalps and hair weighed down by silicones.
- Face: as a 10-minute mask, mixed with rose water.
- Hair: as an occasional, very regenerating shampoo.
- Body: as a wrap after a scrub, just like in the hammam.
The Glam House tip
Don’t try to do everything at once. Choose one ritual, stick to it for three weeks and notice the difference. Moroccan beauty rewards regularity, not accumulation.
